Overview

Dahivu̽ Î Mudâ was founded durring the late 13th century in fall of the year 1168, by Tsîbmêv vyim Mɑnkfilf. The establishment of Dahivu̽ Î Mudâ was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Tsîbmêv vyim Mɑnkfilf electing to pay people to resettle in Dahivu̽ Î Mudâ.

Dahivu̽ Î Mudâ was built using the conventions of Gnollish durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Dahivu̽ Î Mudâ is no diffrent. The metropolis's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Dahivu̽ Î Mudâ is buildings have been located at convienant points along the mountain Dahivu̽ Î Mudâ was built upon. Navigating the town is therefore a little chalanging as the distance between buildings verris greatly and the narrow gravel streets flow where they are able to be made rather than folowing the most convienant paths. The mountain metropolis rests behind a set of well fortified walls, with gatehouses, watch towers, and battlments. Dahivu̽ Î Mudâ's walls are, howeaver, fashioned from stone and timber. While unorthadox, the design looks to be functional to a reasonable degree. With luck, the untested design will remain untested for years to come. The unusual yet seemingly effective fortifications has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.

Dahivu̽ Î Mudâ has the unmistakable air of a metropolis on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Whatever industry once fueled Dahivu̽ Î Mudâ ’s existence has dried up and the metropolis is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. Even with that as it is, everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or much of both. The town should be gone, not dying. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring just long enough for it to be uncomfortable.
